Sadly, we need to stop meeting together on Sunday mornings in order to comply with government guidelines. This, however, does not prevent us from worshiping together. How we worship together must change in the short term. We are going to begin live streaming our service right on Facebook. Please join us at our usual time (11 am UK time) each Sunday morning as we worship our Lord and Savior.
While this may not be an ideal situation, and not something that everyone likes, we need to remember that worship is never an event. The Church is not the building that we meet in, the Church is the people God has called to be His own. These events may seem uncertain to us but we need to remember that God knew this was going to happen and that He continues to work all things to the good of those who love Him, to those who are called according to His purpose. The Church has survived times of crisis before and will survive this as well because the God we worship is greater than these circumstances.
We need to continue to pray for all those affected, those working tirelessly to take care of people’s needs, and government leaders as they make difficult decisions. We eagerly await the day we can gather together again, in person, and worship Jesus together. Until then, please join us online. As we work out the technology we will have others ways to keep us connected.
In His service together,
